This non-fiction series describes to children what it would be like to live in certain periods of history or to take part in certain historical events. Mostly it focuses on American history, but there is a book about England during the Middle Ages. There are also a few books that aren’t historical about life in a circus, being an animal doctor, and being an ant. In order to explain the concepts of the books, the books pose a series of questions about the period or event and then answer them.
The books were written by different authors.
